Arts Award's flexible framework means it can be delivered in a way that works for your college or sixth form. To support your delivery, we have a huge range of guidance and resources, but we want to highlight a few of the key resources for your organisation:
- Thinking of delivering bronze in induction week? Our five day Bronze resource could support with your planning.
- Need help recruiting young people? Take a look at our presentation which can support your recruitment of young people.
- Support work related learning. Many colleges and creative industry employers have begun to use Arts Award as a qualification to support and accredit young people’s work related learning and we have range of resources on Arts Award and employability, Arts Award and Career education, and Apprenticeships to help with this. We also have a handy Employability skills map for Silver and Gold which can help with embedding important transferable skills into your Arts Award programme.
- Embed your delivery into other programmes. Our helpful guides can show you how to link Arts Award into other programmes your students may be participating, such as Arts Award and the NCS Challenge. Our International Baccalaureate and Gold Arts Award resource is designed to show you how Gold Arts Award can be easily mapped to several aspects of the IB Diploma.
- Support students with special educational needs with our Evidencing Arts Award resource designed to inspire you by showing different ways that young people with learning difficulties have evidenced their Arts Award. It includes a range of evidencing examples including photos, film, scribed statements, creative responses, and sign and symbol-based languages.
- Deliver via one of our partnership projects. We have partnerships and alliances with a number of national organisations which allow you to deliver Arts Award alongside their programmes, including Shakespeare Schools Festival, the Duke of Edinburgh Award and BBC Ten Pieces. See our Partner page for more.
Support for advisers
Once trained, Art Award Advisers can access a range of free support via the adviser hub.
- Resources – all our support resources, including Portfolio Building Templates and Evidence Checklists, are held together in one place and are easily browsed or searchable by key words.
- Case Studies - be inspired by other centres and their approach to delivering Arts Award.
- Support – find out about the support on offer including support sessions and webinars.
Please note: the resources on this page are planning tools only and should not be used as a substitute for the adviser toolkit. In order to deliver Arts Award, you must have completed adviser training at the appropriate level.
