Arts Award: What's on? Summer term 2022

At Trinity, we have a strong focus on teacher support and we offer this in a variety of ways across a range of qualifications and assessments including Arts Award. As part of this offer, each term we run a programme of free online events on different themes so that advisers, or those interested in running Arts Award in their setting, can take part in valuable Professional Development and become better equipped to support their groups. Read on to learn about the webinars and other online events taking place this summer term...

- 10 May at 4pm: Arts Award & Art UK
In this interactive online event, join our Arts Award Subject Expert and Art UK's Learning and Engagement Officer to explore how to use Arts Award alongside Art UK's innovative digital visual arts platform. - 12 May at 3.45pm: Arts Award - Meet the Moderator
In this webinar you will learn what moderation options are available and feel more confident about the moderation process. - 18 May at 4pm: Trinity Network Event - progression with assessment for Music Education Hubs and Services
Connect with fellow Music Education Hubs and Services to explore how to support progression using a range of assessment and accreditation opportunities.
- 9 June at 4pm: Music making in the Primary classroom - Arts Award & Charanga
This webinar will focus on developing confidence in delivering music in the primary classroom - whether you are a music specialist or a non-specialist.
- 14 June at 3pm: Arts Award LCEP Networking Event: Funding and sustainability of the arts
This networking event gives you the opportunity to find out how to make your Arts Award plans sustainable with guidance on funding routes and opportunities.
- 21 June at 4pm: Trinity Network Event - singing in the Primary classroom
Share your challenges, successes and questions with other professionals - both from music, education and cross-over practitioners. - 23 June at 4pm: Arts Award – Silver & Gold for young people with SEND
Are you thinking about delivering Silver and/or Gold Arts Award with your young people who have SEND? Join us as we discuss and explore a number of case studies from advisers working in SEND settings.
- 11 July at 4pm: Evidencing Arts Award in Secure Settings
Join our Sector Support Manager (Arts and Youth) and Odd Arts Project Manager & Education Lead as they discuss ways to evidence Arts Award in secure or restricted settings.
